David Neil Constable AM is a director of Supervised Investments Australia Ltd as well as portfolio manager of The Supervised Fund and Chairman of the investment committee for Supervised Global Income Fund.
He was a member of the stock exchange from 1961 until 1998, during which he was chief executive and senior partner of two different stockbroking firms, Constable & Bain and Pembroke Securities Ltd. He has had considerable experience in the Financial Planning industry as chairman of Pembroke Financial Planners, and a director of Towry Law PLC, a market leader listed on the London Stock Exchange prior to its takeover.
Mr Constable has been on the board of a number of Australian listed public companies, including HGL Ltd. He was on the board of Hunter Hall International Ethical, a fund manager listed on the Dublin stock exchange.
He and his immediate family own Constable Estate Vineyards, a well-known boutique vineyard located in the Hunter Valley. For the past 26 years, he has sponsored the annual Hunter Valley chamber music festival, ‘Music in the Hunter.’ His interests include bridge, walking, gardening, and chamber music.
